Everything HerFlow does

Period and fertile-window estimates, a private daily log, guidance for every phase of your cycle, reminders, a home-screen widget, and optional sharing with someone you trust. Free for tracking your own cycle on iPhone and iPad.

Understand your cycle

HerFlow is a menstrual cycle tracker built around the five phases of the cycle. Log a little each day and it turns that into estimates, patterns, and guidance that fit the phase you're in.

Five phases, one calendar

HerFlow names every day of your cycle and adjusts its tips, reminders, and estimates to match. Here's a typical 28-day cycle as the app sees it.

Day 12 · Follicular · 17 days until period

Contraception-aware. Record a hormonal method and HerFlow hides fertile-window and ovulation estimates on your phone instead of guessing. Contraception details are never shared, so people following you still see these estimates. Phase lengths above are an example; the app works out yours from what you log.

A calendar that thinks ahead

Mark period days with a tap and hold. HerFlow estimates your next period, fertile window, and ovulation day from the cycle length you set and the periods you log, and you can change the cycle length any time. Estimates, not guarantees.

Log how you really feel

A five-step mood scale, twelve symptoms across physical, energy, emotional, and mental, flow intensity from spotting to very heavy, and a free-text note for the day. Symptom tracking that takes seconds, not a questionnaire.

Insights over time

A countdown to your next period, your cycle and period length, and mood patterns over the last 30 or 90 days, 6 months, this year, or all time, so you can see how your cycle really behaves.

Guidance for every phase

Each phase comes with a plain-language explanation of what's happening in your body and self-care tips that change with the day, from rest and heat on day one to riding the energy of your follicular week. General information, not medical advice.

Reminders that fit your life

A heads-up a few days before your period, a note when a new phase begins, an optional daily check-in, and your own medication, contraception, or custom reminders on any schedule.

Made to feel like yours

Eight themes, soft or bold, with an app icon to match, and a home-screen widget that shows your cycle day and phase and opens today's log in one tap. Fifteen languages, from English, German, and Spanish to Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese.

Share with someone you trust

Tracking your own cycle is free. Sharing is optional and stays in your hands: a partner, friend, or family member can follow your cycle day and phase, learn what it may feel like, and get tips on how to be there for you. It's context for communication and support, never a way to monitor anyone.

  1. She shares her code

Every HerFlow profile gets a random code like HF7FQ9D3. It's the only thing that links her cycle to anyone, so she shares it only with people she trusts, and only if she wants to. She can pause sharing or get a new code at any time from the People tab.

  2. They enter it in HerFlow

Partners add a person and paste the code. No names, no emails, no accounts, no login to hand over. Cycle updates arrive in their app automatically from then on.

  3. They see the phase, not the diary

Cycle day, current phase, today's symptom tags, phase-change and period notifications, and daily tips on how to support her. Her mood and notes stay private unless she chooses to share that day, and flow intensity is never shared.
