Privacy Policy

Anonymity by Design

HerFlow is built with complete anonymity at its core:

• No personal identifiers: We never collect your name, email address, phone number, or Apple ID
• No account required: You don't need to sign up or create a profile
• Random codes only: If you use Partner Sync, your data is linked only to a randomly generated code — not to you as a person
• Untraceable: Even we cannot determine who owns any piece of data in our system

This means there is no way to spy on someone using HerFlow. Data can only be accessed by someone who has the unique code that you choose to share. Without that code, the data is meaningless and cannot be connected to any individual.

Data Storage

By default, all your personal data — including cycle information, moods, symptoms, and notes — is stored locally on your device.

If you choose to use the Partner Sync feature, your cycle data is stored in our secure cloud database (Firebase) to enable sharing with connected partners. This is optional and only happens when you actively choose to share. Even then, this data contains no personal identifiers — just anonymous cycle information linked to a random code.

Partner Sync Feature

When you enable Partner Sync:

• Your cycle data (period dates, cycle length, symptoms, moods) is uploaded to Firebase, a secure cloud service provided by Google
• Data is associated with an anonymous unique code — not your name, email, or any identifying information
• Only people you personally share your unique code with can access your data
• You maintain full control and can disconnect at any time
• Data is transmitted using encryption (HTTPS/TLS)

If you do not use Partner Sync, your data remains entirely on your device and is never uploaded anywhere.

Data Collection

We do not collect personal identifying information:

• No account registration required (no email, no name)
• No analytics or tracking services
• No advertising identifiers
• No third-party SDKs that collect data

Subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

Third Parties

We use Firebase (Google) solely for the Partner Sync feature to store anonymous, non-identifiable data. We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your data with any other third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data Deletion

Local data: Delete the app, and all local data is permanently removed. You can also clear data from within the app's settings.

Cloud data (Partner Sync): If you've used Partner Sync and want your cloud data deleted, please contact us at support@herflowapp.com with your unique code and we will remove it.

Children's Privacy

HerFlow is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
