Why track without an account
Nothing to leak
No email, phone number, or password is stored anywhere, so there is nothing to leak, sell, or forget.
Nothing ties the data to you
HerFlow never needs to know who you are. What your followers see sits under a random code, never your name.
Sharing stays anonymous
A partner, friend, or family member follows your cycle by entering your code. Neither of you creates an account.
How HerFlow works without an account
-
Open and track
Log your period, mood, symptoms, and notes straight away. The optional name you enter stays on your phone.
-
Private by default
Flow, contraception, and reminders never leave your iPhone. Moods and notes are shared only on days you choose.
-
Share with a code
To let someone follow along, HerFlow keeps a small cycle summary under your random code. Switch sharing off any time.
Is there a period tracker that doesn't need an account?
Yes. HerFlow works without any account: no email, no phone number, no password, and no Apple ID. You can start tracking the moment you open the app, and you can share your cycle with a random code instead of a linked account.
How can HerFlow share my cycle without an account?
Your profile has a random code. When you give it to someone, their copy of HerFlow reads your cycle summary under that code. In the background, the app uses an anonymous credential for your installation, stored in your iPhone's keychain, which contains no personal details.
What happens to my data if I get a new iPhone?
Your cycle data lives on your device, so it is included in your normal iPhone backup to iCloud or your computer, and restoring the backup brings back your history. On a new iPhone, HerFlow may ask you to get a new sharing code and give it out again.
